In collaboration with Overdose. New Zealand, MMH embarked on a highly strategic project to bring their vision for a dynamic, scalable marketplace to life. Through a detailed Discovery and Design phase, we aligned on an ideal system architecture that seamlessly integrates Shopify Plus with Marketplacer, complemented by best-in-class applications including Dotdigital, Yotpo, Searchspring and AdButler. By tailoring each integration to MMH’s broader operational and growth goals, we delivered a marketplace solution that enhances vendor management, streamlines customer journeys and establishes a robust digital foundation — ensuring MMH is well positioned for sustainable growth and innovation in the evolving healthcare landscape.

As part of our collaboration, Overdose. partnered with Manage My Health to create a seamlessly connected marketplace by integrating Shopify Plus with Marketplacer. This connection ensures real-time product syncs between platforms, allowing vendors to easily manage their listings and giving MMH greater operational control without heavy manual workload.

To build a truly future-fit digital ecosystem, we also integrated Dotdigital for advanced marketing automation, Yotpo to capture and showcase authentic customer reviews, Searchspring for fast, intelligent search functionality and AdButler to manage advertising placements more efficiently. Each integration was carefully selected to support MMH’s goals around efficiency, growth and customer experience. All to create a marketplace that's not just functional, but genuinely empowering for both vendors and consumers.

Building a Direct-to-Consumer eCommerce Presence

My Health needed to establish a brand-new eCommerce channel to expand into direct-to-consumer sales. The goal was to create a secure, scalable and intuitive online shopping experience without compromising on speed or usability.

Overdose. designed and built a high-performing Shopify eCommerce site, applying best-practice strategies across speed, security and user experience. By focusing on a frictionless journey from homepage to checkout, we helped MMH successfully step into the D2C space, creating new revenue streams and expanding customer access to trusted health products.

Seamless Marketplacer Integration

Launching a multi-vendor marketplace meant that Manage My Health needed a robust, seamless integration between Marketplacer and Shopify. The complexity lay in balancing vendor autonomy with backend simplicity.

Unifying the Practitioner Platform and eCommerce Store, It was critical that MMH’s new eCommerce site felt like a natural extension of their existing Practitioner platform, maintaining brand trust and a seamless customer experience across both spaces.

SOLUTION

We crafted a consistent visual and functional experience, aligning brand elements, tone and usability across platforms. Through the implementation of Single Sign-On (SSO), we enabled effortless transitions between the Practitioner platform and the new eCommerce store, reinforcing customer trust and strengthening MMH’s connected health and retail offering.
